It is possible that surfaces treated with VIAFORM can be coated with traces of white dust coming from crystallizing organic salt after drying. This dust can be removed with water without leaving any residue.

VIAFORM can be used on the following surfaces*:

Metals

• Stainless steel

• Cadmium plated steel

• Carbon steel

• Aluminium

• Copper

• Magnesium

• Titanium

Direct contact with galvanized materials should be avoided due to the corrosive effect of VIAFORM. The corrosion rate for galvanized steel is low with about 0,07 mg/cm2 per day (compared to NaCl: 0,2 mg/cm2 per day).
