Wintertime, with snow and ice, can be a challenge for norwegian and european football fields with artificial grass. Mechanical snow removal is not enough when the weather is at its worst with heavy snowfalls, temperature variations and freezing rain. Desso Sports Systems has the solution for you owns, runs or use a football field with artificial grass. By using the new ice- and snow melting product Viaform S-Solid the artificial grass can be kept green and soft through the winter season.
Desso Sports Systems cooperate with ADDCON Nordic AS in Porsgrunn to offer Viaform S-Solid – a new and extremely efficient ice- and snow melting, granulated, product.
Viaform S-Solid is developed by Norsk Hydro and is approved by strict standards for use at airports. Viaform is used, with great success at airports all over Europe. The product is 100% environmentally friendly and has the nordic ecolabel ”Svanemerket”. Viaform S-Solid is non-toxic to humans, animals or aquatic organisms.

Viaform S-Solid is delivered in 25 kg bags or in bigbags of 500 or 1000 kg. Always 1000 kg on each pallet.
Viaform works fast and efficient. The granulates works its way through the ice and continues to work from underneath. Viaform S-Solid is tested on Norwegian football fields with good results.
Use of 5 tons yhrough a normal winter season will keep your footballfield soft and ready for playing – even without heating. A combionation with heating and Viaform S-Solid will result in a considerable reduction of the the heating costs.
