ADDCON presence during recent events in Guadalajara, Mexico

The city of the “mariachis and tequila”, Guadalajara, has recently hosted two important events on animal nutrition, the 25th Latin American Poultry Congress and the 12th International Aquaculture Forum.

Jailsco, Guadalajara’s state, is well known for the poultry and swine production in Mexico as well as for the important feed mills and animal feed-related companies that have their headquarters in this “agave azul” state.
ADDCON and its distributor in Mexico, Nutryplus, have importantly participated in both events with conferences on the use of diformates in poultry and aquaculture, respectively. Dr. Christian Lückstädt, ADDCON Technical Director, was the protagonist sharing his knowledge on the use of diformates for a sustainable and profitable production in the mentioned species. His presentations entitled “Dietary potassium diformate affects growth performance in juvenile tilapia” as well as “The impact of dietary diformates on gut health in poultry as an alternative to antibiotic growth promoters” were well received by farmers, feed millers and the scientific community.
During at the 12th International Aquaculture Forum fair  - in which Nutryplus and ADDCON participated with a booth, important people from both the shrimp and tilapia industry came to visit and find out more about AQUAFORM as an alternative to antibiotics. Interesting meetings were held at the booth that resulted in new companies willing to try this “green chemistry” alternative to improve productive parameters in the field.
